Components and Characteristics
Enamelled aluminum wire is made from aluminum rods as the base material. In addition to having the basic properties of aluminum, such as good conductivity (although its conductivity is slightly inferior to copper, it can meet the requirements in many application scenarios) and a lighter weight, its surface is also coated with insulating paint. This insulating paint can effectively prevent short circuits between aluminum wires and can withstand certain temperatures and chemical environments. Different types of insulating paints can provide different insulation properties, heat resistance, etc.
Production Process
Starting from the aluminum rod, it is drawn multiple times through a drawing machine to reduce the aluminum rod to the required wire diameter. During the drawing process, it is important to control the drawing speed and tension to ensure the quality and dimensional accuracy of the aluminum wire. After drawing, the insulating paint is evenly coated on the surface of the aluminum wire using painting equipment. The painting process includes multiple layers of coating such as primer and topcoat, and it must go through processes like drying to ensure that the paint layer adheres firmly to the aluminum wire.
Application Fields
In the motor field, enamelled aluminum wire is used to manufacture motor windings. For example, in some medium and small asynchronous motors, using enamelled aluminum wire can reduce the cost of the motor while also reducing its weight to some extent. In transformers, enamelled aluminum wire can also be used as winding material for small transformers or transformers with weight requirements. In components such as inductive coils in electronic devices, enamelled aluminum wire also plays an important role, as it can meet the functional requirements of electromagnetic conversion, and its lighter weight contributes to the miniaturization of electronic devices.
